Palace Casino Resort Awarded Ninth AAA Four Diamond Rating

Palace Casino Resort has received notification the resort hotel was awarded the prestigious Four Diamond Award rating by the American Automobile Association (AAA). The designation marks the ninth year the Palace Casino Resort has received the AAA Four Diamond Award.

“Our staff is committed to providing superior guest service and maintaining clean, high quality hotel accommodations,” stated Keith Crosby, General Manager. “We’re extremely proud the Palace Casino Resort was recognized for the ninth time by the American Automobile Association as a Four Diamond Award hotel,” Crosby continued. The AAA Diamond Rating Process is North America’s premier hotel and restaurant rating system. The AAA Diamond Rating Process is the only hotel and restaurant rating system that covers the entire United States and Canada, as well as top destinations in Mexico and the Caribbean.

Palace Casino Resort joins a very select group of AAA Four Diamond Award winners. Only 5% percent of the more than 30,000 properties approved by AAA achieve this prestigious AAA Four Diamond designation.

In addition to the AAA Four Diamond Award, Palace Casino Resort and The Preserve Golf Club have won numerous top recognition awards for the Gulf Coast region. In May, Palace Casino Resort received five TripAdvisor® Certificate of Excellence awards. The resort was a top performer in five areas: Palace Casino Resort Hotel, Mignon’s Steaks & Seafood, Palace Buffet, Palace Casino Resort Attraction and STACKED Grill, as reviewed by travelers on TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel site. The accolade which recognizes hospitality excellence is given only to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveler reviews on TripAdvisor. Only the top-performing 10 percent of businesses listed on TripAdvisor receive this prestigious award. Palace Casino Resort was also awarded TripAdvisor GreenLeaders status in June for the resort’s green practices.

Palace Casino Resort was overwhelmingly selected by the readers of Casino Player magazine this year for the Gulf Coast region’s Best Seafood at Mignon’s Steaks & Seafood fine dining restaurant; Best Burger Joint at STACKED Grill; Best Desserts for Palace Café & Bakery; Best Outdoor Dining for Wahoo’s Poolside Bar & Grill and Best Sports Bar for CONTACT Lounge & Sports Bar.

Mignon’s Steaks & Seafood restaurant continues to be recognized as one of the Gulf Coast’s top restaurants. The fine dining restaurant has won numerous awards including the Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator magazine, for the tenth consecutive year.

In addition to winning Casino Player’s ‘Best Burger Joint’ award, STACKED Grill’s selection of burgers was also ranked among the Top 10 of Mississippi’s Best Burgers by the Mississippi Beef Council.

The American Heart Association recently recognized Palace Casino Resort as a Gold Level Fit-Friendly Worksite for its commitment to providing a healthy workplace. In addition to the smoke free environment, Palace offers healthy lifestyle benefits for its associates through dining options, health and wellness programs, and discounted local gym memberships.

The Preserve Golf Club is a proud winner of Golfweek magazine’s ‘Best Courses You Can Play’ award and the number two ranked course in Mississippi.

“The Palace Casino Resort and The Preserve Golf Club strive to offer our guests a memorable resort experience with outstanding guest service, in a smoke free environment,” Crosby continued.  “All the awards and accolades our staff has received are evidence our hard work is translating into a winning combination of fun and excitement in a luxurious, yet casual, relaxing smoke free resort for locals and tourists to enjoy.”
